Hi! I'm Kathie..

And I am so glad that you are here! I have been curiously observing the world around me my whole life and have a couple of decades of inner world exploration under my belt at this point now, too! That curiosity led me into the mental health world in 2008 and in 2015 I took the leap to get my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I continue to learn more about the world around me and inside of me every day​. I could tell you all about the places I have traveled to, the certifications that I have obtained, the story of my life thus far. Although all of those things have informed who I am, it is not what I have done, where I have been, or what I know that I am offering to you at this time of my life. Instead, I offer you my BEing, my humanity, my Self. If we work together, I will be showing up in my humanity and inviting you to do the same. I think it's right there in that raw human space that we find the magic in ourselves and in the world!

My Approach

My approach to therapy is the same as my approach to life. It is centered around the belief that we are all complex and unique. Because of that, it is important to me to tailor experiences to you. At the heart of it all is curiosity, love, intentionality, and humanity. I believe in the importance of a physical and energetic container where there is no right or wrong, only complexity to hold space for. And that is exactly what I strive to create in every session, every therapeutic experience. Whatever it is that you are wanting for yourself, whatever parts of you are longing to be tended to, we will explore them with reverence and playfulness! That's right, this can also be fun! You have a whole universe inside of you just waiting to be explored and I would be thrilled to go on the adventure with you!
